One of our rest stops was at a neat gift shop/museum in Teslin. It had several displays of “stuffed” animals that looked so realistic! We stopped at a waterfall and had a nice hike to see it.
Lunch was at the “Wolf It Down” restaurant! We had sandwiches and soup. It rained several times while we were traveling but nothing that bothered us.
In Watson Lake we stopped at Sign Post Park where people have been putting up signs since 1942. There are over 67,000 signs currently up! We walked thru several rows of them in a mist and found 2 with “Bauer” o
n them! It amazed all of us how many posts there are and how many signs on each post.
On down the road we came upon a bison herd. We arrived at our overnight destination, Northern Rockies Lodge on Muncho Lake, BC about 7:00 pm. Supper was a buffet of roast beef and ham. Then off to our “rustic” room and bed.
Our room!
I would LOVE a copy of the waterfall - it would be really neat in my basement. Jim, Kelly and I have enjoyed looking and reading about your trip. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. Say hello to the ocean for me! We miss you come home soon! Jim, Ann & Kelly
