We brought the ferry back over and Jack met us. We stopped at a Farmer's Market and enjoyed the sights! I love the fresh flowers! They are beautiful and so many varieties.
This afternoon we headed over by Carnation, WA to Full Circle Farm. Today, 13 farms are participating in the Harvest Celebration Farm Tour in King County. This farm is a over 300 acre organic farm that cultivates over 125 varieties of vegetables, herbs, berries and melons. Chef Seth Caswell, president of Seattle Chef's Collaborative did a presentation on cooking mushrooms, potatoes, cabbage, and other vegetables. It was another beautiful day and we enjoyed the trip.
Back to Jack and Paula's to watch the Iowa football game.
Tomorrow we will be boarding our next ship for our trip thru the Panama Canal. I'm not sure when I will be able to update the blog again as I refuse to pay the high price to use the ship internet! Hopefully, I will find some internet cafes to keep you informed on our trip. I hope to also check my e-mail often. So please keep in touch!
