Anchorage, AK

After breakfast we boarded our John Hall Tour bus for a tour of Anchorage. We stopped to see Mt. McKinley again (it was still there with no clouds!), saw another moose and headed downtown for a driving bus tour. We headed for Denali National Park. On the way we stopped at Sheep Creek Lodge for lunch. While we were there 25 Harley Davidson’s came! Again, Mt. McKinley was clear and we had more beautiful photos! We arrived at Denali and checked into the Grizzly Bear Resort. We had a cute room with a balcony overlooking the river. Off for a short walk before we headed to Denali Park’s Alaska Cabin Nite dinner theater. We had Salmon and ribs along with baked beans, corn on the cob, cole slaw, and blueberry cobbler for dessert! The show was really cute! It told the story of Fanny who settled in Alaska. Back to the motel and bed.
