We were in Acapulco, Mexico. Arrived at 8:00. We found an Internet Café but were not able to update the Blog as their computers didn’t like my new Vista version of Microsoft Word! We did get some e-mails sent out instead.

We walked around the area near the pier and found a small plaza and church. Since it was Sunday morning, Mass was taking place. Several vendors were setting up their booths for the Mass attendees. We wondered around some and then headed back to the ship to catch our tour.

Our tour took us to see the Cliff Divers. They were some crazy people! The divers range from teens to sixty year olds! There was one girl when we were there. They are paid to dive by the tour groups so they stand on the cliff until all the tourists are seated to watch. One, two or three divers jump off the cliff at a time.

After we got the bus out of the traffic jam at the divers we took a tour around the city.

Back to the ship and we sailed on toward our next stop.

I’m not sure I have told you about our meals. We eat breakfast at the Buffet on the Lido deck. It is served anytime from 6:00 am to 10:30 am. We also do lunch on the Lido deck – another Buffet. We could have both of these meals in the dining room, but choose the less formal setting. We do go to the Dining room for supper each night. We chose “Open Seating” which allows us to go anytime from 5:15 to 9:00 pm. When we arrive we are seated at a table with anywhere from 2-8 others. We have only sat with one couple twice! We enjoy this as there is always something to talk about with new people each night.
