Columbus Day! It is a holiday in Santa Marta, Colombia! We headed off the ship with the laptop in hand searching for wireless internet to update the Blog for the last 10 days! We were lucky and found an air conditioned tour office where the English was great and they had wireless that we could use! I asked how much and the “boss lady” (hey, “boss lady” if you read this would you send me your e-mail address?? rlcmbauer@hotmail.com Thanks again for all your hospitality!)….said it was on her! She didn’t realize that I would spend from 9 am to 3:30 pm sitting there uploading the blog and pictures!!! It was a great day! I’m sorry that we didn’t see much of Colombia as it was a beautiful country from the pictures on their computer! Bob made a couple trips back to the ship for info that I needed and each time returned with a couple cookies to share! So I had 2 cookies for my lunch!
